After appearing in short films and supporting roles, Varma played the lead role in the Telugu film Pelli Choopulu (2016), for which she received the Nandi Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress – Telugu. She has appeared in several commercially successful films such as Yevade Subramanyam (2015), Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (2020), Oke Oka Jeevitham (2022) and Mark Antony (2023).
Early life and work

Career
Varma started her career with her performance in the Telugu short film Anukokunda.
