Robert Gordon Pearson (born August 3, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL).,{{cite web |url=http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=4204 |title = Rob Pearson (b.1971) Hockey Stats and Profile at hockeydb.com}} and is now general manager and head coach of Pickering Panthers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.

Biography

Pearson was born in Oshawa, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 1984 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Oshawa.{{cite web|url=https://www.publicationsports.com/ressources/files/439/Joueurs_Pro.pdf|title=Pee-Wee players who have reached NHL or WHA|year=2018|website=Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament|access-date=2019-01-20}}

Pearson was drafted 12th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. He played in 269 career NHL games, scoring 56 goals and 54 assists for 110 points. Pearson also played for the St. Louis Blues and the Washington Capitals.{{citation needed|date=January 2019}}
