Robert Bagg

He has published several volumes of poetry and has authored critical studies of Sappho and Catullus.Bagg, Robert. Hippolytos. New York: Oxford University Press. 1973. Recognition for his work includes receiving a Guggenheim Fellowship for translation and a Prix de Rome for poetry. In addition to his other literary work, Bagg taught English at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1965–1996), serving as Department Chair{{which|date=October 2019}} (1986–92).{{cite web
