Robert Roland Davies (b Canterbury 15 September 1805- d Hobart 13 November 1880) was an Anglican priest in Australia.[https://adb.anu.edu.au/biography/davies-robert-rowland-1962 Australian Dictionary of Biography]
Davies was educated at Trinity College, Dublin."Alumni Dublinenses : a register of the students, graduates, professors and provosts of Trinity College in the University of Dublin (1593–1860)" George Dames Burtchaell/Thomas Ulick Sadleir p213: Dublin, Alex Thom and Co, 1935 He was ordained in 1828. His first post was a curacy at Kilbrin. In 1830 he arrived in Tasmania.
