Views

In a series of books, Hutchinson challenges longstanding academic views on Jesus of Nazareth and early Christianity that have held sway for over a century, sparking debate.{{Cite web |date=2015-12-27 |title=Archaeological Discoveries Prove Jesus Existed, Disprove Atheist 'Mythicist' Scholarship, Book Claims (Interview) |url=https://www.christianpost.com/news/searching-for-jesus-archaeological-discoveries-prove-jesus-existed-atheist-mythicist-interview.html |access-date=2024-05-05 |website=christianpost.com |language=en}}

Hutchinson claims recent archaeological discoveries and New Testament scholarship now undermine older notions that Jesus believed the world would end in his lifetime or that he was sympathetic to violent revolutionaries. Leading secular scholars at elite universities are increasingly dismissing these century-old ideas, he argues.

He also argues that the Bible's philosophical concepts formed the bedrock of Western civilization and helped pave the way for experimental science, the abolition of slavery, the development of limited government and the recognition of universal human rights.{{Cite web |date=2021-03-20 |title=The Politically Incorrect Guide To The Bible |url=https://710knus.com/all/the-politically-incorrect-guide-to-the-bible |access-date=2024-05-05 |website=710 KNUS |language=en}}{{Cite web |title=The Politically Incorrect Guide™ to the Bible – Conservative Book Club |url=https://www.conservativebookclub.com/book/politically-incorrect-guide-bible |access-date=2024-05-05 |website=www.conservativebookclub.com}}
