Robiquetia wassellii, commonly known as the green pouched orchid,{{cite book|last1=Jones|first1=David L.|title=A complete guide to native orchids of Australia including the island territories|date=2006|publisher=New Holland|location=Frenchs Forest, N.S.W.|isbn=1877069124|page=445}} is an epiphytic or lithophytic orchid from the family Orchidaceae. It has thick roots, a pendulous stem, between three and six crowded, dark green leaves and many crowded dark green flowers with pink to red centres and a white to yellowish labellum. It grows on trees and rocks in rainforest in tropical North Queensland, Australia.File:Robiquetia wassellii.jpg
Description
Robiquetia wassellii is an epiphytic or lithophytic herb that forms sparse clumps. It has thick roots and a pendulous stem, {{convert|100-500|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long. There are between three and six dark green leaves {{convert|80-140|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long and about {{convert|30|mm|in|sigfig=2}} wide. A large number of resupinate, cup-shaped, dark green flowers with a pink to red centre, {{convert|12-14|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long, {{cvt|4-6|mm|in|sigfig=2}} are crowded on a pendulous flowering stem {{cvt|100-150|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long. The sepals are blunt, narrow egg-shaped, {{cvt|5-6|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long and {{cvt|3-3.5|mm|in|sigfig=2}} wide, the dorsal sepal slightly longer and narrower than the lateral sepals. The petals are about {{cvt|5.5|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long and {{cvt|3.5|mm|in|sigfig=2}} wide. The labellum is white to yellowish, about {{cvt|5.5|mm|in|sigfig=2}} long and {{cvt|3.5|mm|in|sigfig=2}} wide and is basin-like with a beak-like tip and a spur about {{cvt|12|mm|in|sigfig=2}}. Taxonomy and naming

Distribution and habitat
The green pouched orchid grows on trees and boulders in humid rainforest in the Iron and McIlwraith Ranges.
