Moxa
Moxa (or Moxism) is an anarchic, anti-establishment, spiritual manifesto based on his ideologies, which puts profound emphasis on Kāma: a vital component of life from which life reproduces. People indoctrinated with the disciplines of Moxa are known as Dopers, who often use psychedelics like Marijuana (joint) to transition into an mentally aroused state suitable for deep spiritual and philosophical meditation on various topics. Dopers believe that through Kāmyoga (a spiritual practice of sexuality) it's possible to attain Moksha. As a matter of fact, the word ‘Moxa’ is derived from Sanskrit Moksha.
In Moxa jargon, a Baalnagorik is a common bourgeois citizen (according to Marxist theory), who fallen into the clutches of the capitalist system, blindly worships the banalities of consumerism.
= Key Points =
- Dopers are instinctively skeptical of all authorities religious or political, approaching them from an apathetic manner; i.e., they eschew from all forms of binary.
- Dopers are typically social outcasts, whose beliefs and ideals are viewed as "potential threats" to the integrity of the society.
- Dopers acknowledge the volatile and dynamic nature of human sexuality; as a consequence, don't place restraints on the expression of sexual freedom.
- Dopers usually periodically engage in erotic spiritual rites, claiming to rejuvenate their sexual vigour.
YouTube
Roy began his YouTube career in 2010. Earlier on he sang Rabindrasangeet with eccentric choices of instrumentals, e.g. xylophones; recited Sukumar Roy's comical poems. However, later his style evolved to emulate post-modernist ideals in his original work. He subsequently gained a cult-like status in the following years for his avant-garde style, especially for the excessive use of swear words. He sporadically promoted his radical anarchist ideologies, collectively known as Moxism, through his videos. He also proclaimed the title of Bishwakabi (lit. "world poet"), a title originally bestowed upon poet Rabindranath Tagore acknowledging his universal acclaim.
Books
Roy has penned down a few books throughout his career. Namely,
