Description

Rodriguezia venusta is an epiphytic orchid species, with sympodial growth and exuberant flowering. Its flowers bloom in the form of hanging stems full of small white flowers with a center varying between beige or yellowish tones. Its size is small, not reaching more than 20 centimeters in height, however, it is grouped in dense clumps, growing horizontally.{{Cite journal|url=https://www.publish.csiro.au/bt/BT09178|doi=10.1071/BT09178|title=Structure and histochemistry of the stigmatic and transmitting tissues of Rodriguezia venusta (Orchidaceae) during flower development|year=2010|last1=Leitão|first1=Carlos André E.|last2=Cortelazzo|first2=Angelo L.|journal=Australian Journal of Botany|volume=58|issue=3|page=233|url-access=subscription}}

Its roots are aerial, so this orchid prefers stony substrates, and planting in confined pots should be avoided.{{Cite web|url=https://www.jardineiro.net/plantas/veu-de-noiva-rodriguezia-venusta.html|title=Véu-de-noiva - Rodriguezia venusta}}
