Ron McCarthy (3 November 1934 – 20 January 1989){{cite web|url=http://australianfootball.com/players/player/Ronald+McCarthy/8280|title=Ronald McCarthy - Player Bio|publisher=Australian Football|accessdate=5 December 2014}} was an Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1950s and part of Footscray Bulldogs first VFL premiership in 1954.
