Vestiges of the relocated Erie Canal extend beyond the loop across the picture to the right. The abandoned right of way of the Rochester & Eastern interurban line comes up from the bottom left corner, passes the loop (where it once crossed the Canal on a high bridge), and takes a graceful curve at top, heading toward Pittsford and east. |accessdate=January 7, 2014}}
