Admiral Sir Rudolf Miles Burmester, {{post-nominals|country=GBR|size=100%|sep=,|KBE|CB|CMG}} (11 November 1875 – 27 December 1956) was a Royal Navy officer who went on to be Commander-in-Chief, Africa Station.
Naval career

In 1922 he was appointed Commanding Officer of HMS Victory{{Cite web|url=http://www.hms-victory.com/index.php?Itemid=76&id=51&option=com_content&task=view|title=HMS Victory: Commanding Officers}} and in 1923 he was appointed Commanding Officer of HMS Warspite. He was promoted to rear admiral in 1924. Between 1926 and 1928 he was Director of the Naval Mobilisation Department.
