The Rugby Art Gallery and Museum is a combined art gallery and museum in central Rugby, Warwickshire, in England. The purpose-built building housing it is shared with Rugby library; it was opened in 2000 and was built in the place of Rugby's previous library.{{cite web |title=Rugby Art Gallery and Museum Art Collections |url=https://www.artuk.org/visit/collection/rugby-art-gallery-and-museum-art-collections-1084 |publisher=Art UK |accessdate=10 December 2018}}{{cite web |title=Directory of attractions - Rugby Art Gallery and Museum |url=https://www.therugbytown.co.uk/directory_record/10061/rugby_art_gallery_and_museum |publisher=The Rugby Town |accessdate=10 December 2018}}{{cite web |last1= |first1= |title=Rugby Library and Information Centre |url=https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/directory-record/586/rugby-library-and-information-centre |website=Warwickshire County Council |access-date=7 July 2021 |language=en}}

The art gallery holds "The Rugby Collection", over 170 items of 20th century and contemporary British art, including prints, drawings and paintings by artists such as L. S. Lowry, Stanley Spencer, Paula Rego and Graham Sutherland. The collection was built up by Rugby Borough Council from 1946 onwards and still collects "works by British artists of 'promise and renown' ". There is also a "Local Art Collection".{{cite web |title=The Rugby Collection |url=https://www.rugby.gov.uk/ragm/info/2/collections/172/the_rugby_collection|publisher=Rugby Art Gallery and Museum |website=www.rugby.gov.uk |access-date=7 July 2021 |language=en}}

The museum hosts a collection of Roman artefacts, excavated from the nearby Roman town of Tripontium.{{cite web |last1= |first1= |title=The Archaeology Collection |url=https://www.ragm.co.uk/ragm/homepage/47/the_archaeology_collection |website=www.ragm.co.uk |publisher=Rugby Art Gallery and Museum |access-date=7 July 2021 |language=en}} It also has a display of the social and industrial history of Rugby,{{cite web |last1= |first1= |title=The Social History Collection |url=https://www.rugby.gov.uk/ragm/homepage/124/the_social_history_collection |website=www.rugby.gov.uk |publisher=Rugby Museum and Art Gallery |access-date=7 July 2021 |language=en}} and the "Redding Collection" of some 25,000 mid-20th-century photographic negatives taken at the Rugby photographic studio of George Redding.{{cite web |last1= |first1= |title=The Redding Photographic Collection |url=https://www.ragm.co.uk/ragm/homepage/58/the_redding_collection |website=www.ragm.co.uk |publisher=Rugby Museum and Art Gallery |access-date=7 July 2021 |language=en}} In December 2006, the Rugby World Cup was exhibited at the museum.

The facility became the permanent physical home of the World Rugby Hall of Fame in November 2016.{{cite news|url=https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-38003317 |title=World Rugby Hall of Fame: Jonny Wilkinson attends launch |publisher=BBC News Coventry and Warwickshire |date=17 November 2016 |accessdate=27 April 2017}} However this was closed in 2021, due to financial pressures on the local council, and lower than expected visitor numbers.{{cite web |title=World Rugby Hall of Fame set to close as deal ends and council tightens purse strings |url=https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/local-news/world-rugby-hall-fame-set-20169208 |publisher=Coventry Telegraph |access-date=5 October 2021}}{{cite web |title=Council votes to close World Rugby Hall of Fame |url=https://rugbyobserver.co.uk/news/council-votes-to-close-world-rugby-hall-of-fame/ |publisher=Rugby Observer |access-date=5 October 2021}}

The building also houses the town's visitor centre.{{cite web |title=Rugby visitor centre |url=https://www.therugbytown.co.uk/info/5/discovering/10022/rugby_visitor_centre |publisher=The Rugby Town |accessdate=3 October 2019}}

As part of a national venture called Get it Loud in Libraries, the building has played host to gigs of various music artists such as Plan B and British Sea Power.
