History
Porter got his motivation to start a band from watching A Hard Day's Night by The Beatles when he was a kid and declared "That's it, that's what I want to do." Porter mentions that other bands inspired him like The Rolling Stones, New York Dolls, and early Alice Cooper. The band would eventually work with producer Mike Caviezel to produce some of their albums, and later Denny Porter as a solo artist.{{Cite web | last = | first = | title =99 Men | website=Broadjam.com | date = | page= | url = https://www.broadjam.com/99men| access-date =April 1, 2021 | archive-url = | archive-date = |url-status= }} Denny Porter would also be a part of the group Blue Baboons.{{Cite web | last =Swarner | first =Ron | title =Sunday, Sept. 18: Wizard's Hairspa 30th Anniversary Bash | website=Northwestmilitary.com | date =September 19, 2019 | page= | url = http://www.northwestmilitary.com/calendar/we-recommend/2011/09/Sunday-Sept-18-Wizards-Hairspa-30th-Anniversary-Bash-the-swiss-tacoma/| access-date =April 1, 2021 | archive-url = | archive-date = |url-status= }}
