Sędziejowice {{IPAc-pl|s|e|n|dź|e1|j|o|'|w|i|c|e}} is a village in Łask County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland.{{cite web|url=http://www.stat.gov.pl/broker/access/prefile/listPreFiles.jspa|title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) - TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal)|date=2008-06-01|language=Polish}} It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sędziejowice. It lies approximately {{convert|11|km|mi|0}} south-west of Łask and {{convert|43|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-west of the regional capital Łódź.
During the January Uprising, on August 26, 1863, it was the site of the Battle of Sędziejowice, in which Polish insurgents led by General Edmund Taczanowski defeated Russian troops. From 1939 to 1945, the village was incorporated into the Third Reich, and after the war the village was once again incorporated into Poland.Czeslaw Madajczyk.
