Saadia Idris

Work and advocacy experience

She has been promoting gender-based violence (GBV) awareness and improved access to referral pathways for GBV survivors especially to women, children and girls in the refugee community. She provides mentorship to young refugee girls in Kakuma by connecting girls who have suffered similar experiences, aimed at fostering a safe and supportive community for them.
