Of the rest of the population, there were 74 members of an Orthodox church (or about 0.71% of the population), there were 7 individuals (or about 0.07% of the population) who belonged to the Christian Catholic Church, and there were 153 individuals (or about 1.47% of the population) who belonged to another Christian church. There were 7 individuals (or about 0.07% of the population) who were Jewish, and 377 (or about 3.62% of the population) who were Islamic. There were 7 individuals who were Buddhist, 1 person who was Hindu and 10 individuals who belonged to another church. 441 (or about 4.23% of the population) belonged to no church, are agnostic or atheist, and 336 individuals (or about 3.22% of the population) did not answer the question.
Education
In Saint-Maurice about 3,601 or (34.6%) of the population have completed non-mandatory upper secondary education, and 828 or (7.9%) have completed additional higher education (either University or a Fachhochschule). Of the 828 who completed tertiary schooling, 59.2% were Swiss men, 28.7% were Swiss women, 6.4% were non-Swiss men and 5.7% were non-Swiss women.
