Salvatore Mereu (born 17 March 1965) is an Italian film director and screenwriter.

Life and career

In 2003, he made his feature film debut with Three-Step Dance, which was awarded best film of the Venice International Film Critics' Week at the 60th Venice International Film Festival and got him the David di Donatello for best new director and the Ciak d'Oro for best first work.{{cite book |last1=Palladini |first1=Irene |title=Occhi da incantamondo.
