Salvia funckii is a perennial shrub native to Colombia, growing on rocky slopes in cloud forest from {{convert|2000|to|2800|m|ft|abbr=on}} elevation. The plant grows up to {{convert|3|m|ft|abbr=on}} tall, with decumbent or ascending stems, and triangular-hastate leaves.
