Biography
Born in Basra Governorate, Salwan Alkhamas moved to Baghdad with his family in 1986 and completed his university studies there. On November 11, 1989, he was ordained as a tarmida by Ganzibra Abdullah bar Negm and then moved to Basra to serve as a Mandaean priest. In 1995, he moved back to Baghdad, and then to Stockholm, Sweden in 1998. Salwan Alkhamas has initiated Tarmida Majid Dakhil ({{lang|ar|الترميذا ماجد داخل}}), Tarmida Asaad Dakhil ({{lang|ar|الترميذا اسعد داخل}}), Tarmida Maksim Al-Saeedi ({{lang|ar|الترميذا مكسيم السعيدي}}), and Tarmida Thamir Jabbar Shamkhi ({{lang|ar|الترميذا ثامر جابر شمخي}}).
