Samica is a multilingual interdisciplinary scholarly book series focused on the languages, literatures and cultures of Sápmi and published by the University of Freiburg. The first volume was published in 2014.{{cite web

The series was founded in 2014 as the follow-up to the series Kleine saamische Schriften.{{cite web|url=https://portal.dnb.de/opac.htm?method=simpleSearch&cqlMode=true&query=idn%3D988512521|title=Kleine saamische Schriften|website=German National Library, catalogue|access-date=2019-10-18}} Just as its predecessor, Samica is intended to reach a readership interested in a wide range of topics concerning Sámi studies.

Volumes include contributions to the Sámi languages, literatures and cultures as well as teaching materials and literary texts both in the original languages and in translation. As of October 2018, four volumes have been published, and a fifth is scheduled to appear in the near future.Samica website
