For the 2012–13 season, Galindo sealed his third loan spell in three consecutive seasons with CD Lugo, in the Spanish second division. He only appeared in 5 games for the club, which prompted him to move back to Arsenal earlier than expected.

After the unsuccessful spell with Lugo, he moved back to Bolivia to play for Club Jorge Wilstermann.{{cite web|url=http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/galindo-moves-back-to-bolivia-on-loan|title=Galindo moves back to Bolivia on loan|date=7 February 2013|access-date=7 February 2013|archive-date=15 April 2015|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150415194631/http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/galindo-moves-back-to-bolivia-on-loan|url-status=live}} During his time at Club Jorge Wilstermann, he played seven games, he didn't score nor assist during that time.{{Cite web|url=http://espnfc.com/player/_/id/130675/samuel-galindo?cc=5739|title=Soccer Teams, Scores, Stats, News, Fixtures, Results, Tables - ESPN|access-date=10 July 2013|archive-date=14 June 2024|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20240614172134/https://www.espn.com/soccer/?cc=5739|url-status=live}}
