Lamichhane made his T20I debut against the West Indies, where he represented a World XI side. Early and personal life

Lamichhane was born on 2 August 2000 in Aruchaur, Syangja, Gandaki Province, Nepal. Controversy

In September 2022, an 18 year old girl lodged a police complaint against Sandeep for raping her. In January 2024, a Kathmandu court sentenced him to eight years of jail in the case.
