The Ward is located on Sarangkot, a hill on the western side of Pokhara with an altitude of 1600m. Sarangkot is known for its panoramic Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu. It also provides an expansive view of the city of Pokhara, from the extreme north to the south including Phewa Lake. Tourists drive up the hill to watch the sunrise from the view tower at the top. In recent years, Sarangkot has been called one of the best paragliding locations in the world.{{Cite book|last=House|first=Media|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=jTOr_m1kAOEC|title=Columbus World Travel Guide, 2004-2005|date=2004-12-01|publisher=Highbury Columbus Travel Pub.|isbn=978-1-902221-84-7|pages=514|language=en}}{{Cite book|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=V_E-AQAAIAAJ|title=Nepal|date=2009|publisher=Lonely Planet Publications|pages=87|language=en}} The hike up from the Pokhara Baglung highway at Miruwa to Sarangkot takes 90 minutes to 1.5hours.{{Cite book|last1=Wheeler|first1=Tony|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=PgdWAAAAYAAJ|title=Nepal, a travel survival kit|last2=Everist|first2=Richard|date=1990|publisher=Lonely Planet Publications|isbn=978-0-86442-024-4|pages=292|language=en}}
