The Sarra Triangle is a strip of land, today located in the Kufra District of Libya's Cyrenacian geographical subdivision. The strip of land was originally colonised by Britain and added to Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. In 1934 an agreement was struck between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Italy, ceding the territory to the Italian colony in Libya.{{citation |url= https://fall.fsulawrc.com/collection/LimitsinSeas/IBS010.pdf|title=International Boundary Study No. 10 – Libya-Sudan Boundary|date=16 October 1961|access-date=23 January 2020}}{{Cite book|title=African Boundaries: A Legal and Diplomatic Encyclopedia|last=Brownlie|first=Ian|author-link=Ian Brownlie|publisher=Institute for International Affairs, Hurst and Co.|year=1979|pages= 133–40}} The land is home to a minor oasis called Ma'tan as-Sarra.
