Sathariel ({{langx|he|סתריאל}}, {{langx|grc|Σαθιήλ|translit=Sathiḗl}}) is described in the Book of Enoch as the 17th Watcher of the 20 leaders of the 200 fallen angels. Michael Knibb believes the name to mean "Moon of God" or "Dawn of God" based on the Ge'ez copies of the Book of Enoch.{{cite book|title=The Ethiopic Book of Enoch: A New Edition in the Light of the Aramaic Dead Sea Fragments|editor1-last=Knibb|editor1-first=Michael A.|editor2-first=Edward|editor2-last=Ullendorff|location=Oxford|publisher=Clarendon Press|year=1978}}

Sathariel is said to be the qliphah of Binah, and described as concealers, by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn{{cite book|title=The Golden Dawn|last=Regardie|first=Israel|author-link=Israel Regardie|year=1989|isbn=0-87542-663-8|page=82|publisher=Llewellyn Worldwide |quote=Fifth knowledge lecture}} and Aleister Crowley.{{harvp|Crowley|1986|pp=2-3, tables II, VIII}}. Crowley only gives Sathariel’s name in Hebrew, as סאתאריאל. Crowley associates Sathariel with Satan and Moloch.{{sfnp|Crowley|1986|loc=Table IV}}
