Biography

Jayasinghe's parents were Percy and Celia Vitarana. She was educated at Kalutara Balika Vidyalaya and later at Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya. Jayasinghe was an Associate and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Banking, London.

Personal life
