Scenic Bluffs Conference

The Scenic Bluffs Conference was formed in 1979 when the larger Scenic Central Conference split into two smaller conferences from its existing Northern and Southern divisions.{{Cite news |date=12 August 1979 |title=Area high schools form two new conferences |url=https://www.newspapers.com/image/405534896/?match=1&terms=%22scenic%20central%22%20%22ridge%20valley%22%20%22scenic%20bluffs%22 |access-date=16 December 2024 |work=Wisconsin State Journal |pages=22}} The core of the Scenic Bluffs membership came from the Northern Division of the former Scenic Central (Bangor, Brookwood, Cashton, Hillsboro, New Lisbon and Wonewoc-Center).
