Scoparia dulcis is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family. Common names include licorice weed,{{PLANTS|id=SCDU3|taxon=Scoparia dulcis|accessdate=8 November 2015}} goatweed,{{cite journal |first1=Rakesh |last1=Jain |first2=Megh |last2=Singh |year=1989 |title=Factors Affecting Goatweed (Scoparia dulcis) Seed Germination |journal=Weed Science |volume=37 |issue=6 |pages=766–70 |jstor=4044996|doi=10.1017/S0043174500072817 }} scoparia-weed and sweet-broom in English, tapeiçava, tapixaba, and vassourinha in Portuguese, escobillo in Spanish, and tipychä kuratu in Guarani.{{GRIN | accessdate = 19 January 2018}} It is native to the Neotropics but it can be found throughout the tropical and subtropical world.

Traditional medicine

It is called kallurukki (stone melter) in

Malayalam and Tamil.
