Scott Ashley Leather (born 30 September 1992) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays for Chorley as a defender.
Career
Born in Sale, Greater Manchester,{{cite book|editor1-first=Glenda|editor1-last=Rollin|editor2-first=Jack|editor2-last=Rollin|title=Sky Sports Football Yearbook 2012–2013|year=2012|publisher=Headline|location=London|isbn=978-0-7553-6356-8|page=516|edition=43rd}} Leather was a member of Crewe Alexandra's youth team between the ages of 8 and 16, before moving to Preston North End in 2009.{{cite web|url=http://www.pnefc.net/page/YouthsProfiles/0,,10362~1730314,00.html|title=Profile|access-date=30 April 2011|date=3 February 2010|publisher=Preston North End F.C.}} Leather made his first team debut for Preston on 30 April 2011 against Ipswich Town in a 2–1 defeat. In May 2012, Leather was released from the club after being told his contract would not be renewed.
