Biography

He also received an H.Dip in Higher Education and studied art at Letterkenny RTC{{cite web | url=https://visualartists.ie/events/sean-fingleton-collection-at-letterkenny-institute-of-technology/ | title=Sean Fingleton Collection at Letterkenny Institute of Technology | publisher=www.visualarts.ie | date=4 October 2019 | accessdate=2 February 2022 }} and the National College of Art and Design. Recognition and holdings

Two of his works are in the collection of the Irish Museum of Modern Art,[http://www.imma.ie/en/page_234756.htm Mucky Field] and [http://www.imma.ie/en/page_234757.htm Untitled], Irish Museum of Modern Art, retrieved 2013-12-08. his painting, Coastal Scene, is part of the European Parliament art collection in Strasbourg,[http://www.europarl.europa.eu/art-collection/en/welcome.htm Art Collection, Europarl] and his work is also on display at the Royal Hospital in Gloucester in England, and the residence of the President of Ireland, Aras an Uachtarain.
