Selimpaşa, known in Byzantine times as Epibates (sometimes as Epivates or Epibatos; {{langx|el|Επιβάτες}}), is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Silivri, Istanbul Province, in the European part of Turkey.[https://www.e-icisleri.gov.tr/Anasayfa/MulkiIdariBolumleri.aspx Mahalle], Turkey Civil Administration Departments Inventory. The town is located on the northwestern coast of the Marmara Sea, {{convert|50|km|mi|abbr=on}} west of Istanbul and {{convert|13|km|mi|abbr=on}} east from Silivri on the highway D.100.

Selimpaşa today is a summer resort with long sandy beaches.
