History

Carmyle Provisional School opened on 30 July 1906. On 1 January 1909, it became Carmyle State School. It closed in 1910. The school reopened in 1911 when it was described as being {{Convert|21 by 14|ft}} plus a verandah and was well-ventilated with six windows and a door.
