Career
In 1991, he became an officer in CISF through UPSC and in 1993, after getting selected in IPS in the Civil Services Examination 1993 conducted by UPSC, he left CISF and joined IPS, he got Tamil Nadu cadre, he got his first posting as ASP in Tirunelveli district, he has served as Superintendent of Police in Erode, Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli districts.On central deputation, he served as Regional Passport Officer, Ghaziabad under the Ministry of External Affairs.
