Shipton is a small village in Shropshire, England.
The 12th-century parish church of St James is a Grade II* Listed Building.{{cite web|url=https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1367573|title=

The church figures prominently in the history of the Samuel More family of Mayflower pilgrims fame. The More family had their seat at Shipton Hall after acquiring the Hall through marriage from the Mytton family in 1795.{{cite web|url=http://www.touruk.co.uk/houses/houses_shropshire_shipton_hall.htm|title=Shipton Hall|publisher= Britain Express|accessdate = 21 January 2016}} The Hall is constructed of limestone to an E-plan.
