Sholes Glacier is located on the northeast slopes of Mount Baker in the North Cascades of the U.S. state of Washington.{{Cite map|publisher=TopoQwest (United States Geological Survey Maps)|title=Mount Baker, WA|url=http://www.topoquest.com/map.php?lat=48.81290&lon=-121.77264&datum=nad83&zoom=4|accessdate=2012-11-03}} The glacier lies on the north side of the ridge known as The Portals. Between 1850 and 1950, Sholes Glacier retreated {{convert|3838|ft|abbr=on}}. Sholes Glacier is named in honor of Charles H. Sholes, who served as president of the Mazamas in the early 1900s.
