Shum Yip Upperhills Tower 1 ({{zh|s=深业上城大厦 1|p=shēnyè shàngchéng dàshà 1}}) is a supertall skyscraper completed in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. It stand at {{convert|388.1|m|ft|1}} tall. Construction started on 12 February 2014 and was completed in 2020.{{cite web |url= http://skyscrapercenter.com/building/shum-yip-upperhills-tower-1/16001|title= Shum Yip Upperhills Tower 1|access-date= January 17, 2015|work= The Skyscraper Center|publisher= Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat}}{{Cite web|title=Shum Yip Upperhills Complex - The Skyscraper Center|url=https://www.skyscrapercenter.com/complex/1137|access-date=2020-08-26|website=www.skyscrapercenter.com}}

The tower has a novel structural system called a "Ladder Core System" where the perimeter mega columns are connected to the central reinforced concrete core at every story as opposed to the typical configuration where they are only connected via outriggers at mechanical floors.{{cite journal |author=Charles Besjak |author2=Preetam Biswas |author3=Syed Uzair Ullah |author4=Xiaoyu He |author5=Jing Zhuang | title=Shenzhen Shum-Yip Tower One – Gravity and Lateral Load Resisting System Optimization | journal= Structures Congress 2014 | pages=2524–2536 | year=2014 |url=http://ascelibrary.org/doi/abs/10.1061/9780784413357.221 | doi=10.1061/9780784413357.221 | isbn=978-0-7844-1335-7 }}

Additionally, unlike other supertall skyscrapers with mega-columns, Shum Yip T1 does not have any supplemental gravity columns in the office portion of the tower. The corner framing on either side of the mega-columns is cantilevered 8.5m, which creates a balanced cantilever thus reducing the demand of the middle span an achieving a 28.5m column free span between the two mega-columns on each face.{{cite conference |author=Charles Besjak |author2=Gary Haney |author3=Preetam Biswas |author4=Jing Zhuang |author5=Georgi I.
