History

Singapore Bible College was established in 1952.{{cite book|last1=Ahn|first1=Daniel S. According to former principal Albert Ting, it was founded "to uphold the authority of God's Word at the time when the Scriptures were under severe attack from the liberals of that era." Ting asserts that SBC is a "living testimony to the effectiveness and authority of God's Word as we expound a Bible-based theological education."{{cite web|title=Do Historical Matters Matter to Faith?: A Critical Appraisal of Modern and Postmodern Approaches to Scripture|url=https://www.crossway.org/books/do-historical-matters-matter-to-faith-tpb/|publisher=Crossway Books|accessdate=27 November 2015}}

SBC consists of four schools: two Schools of Theology in English and Chinese language respectively; a School of Church Music and a School of Counselling. The college has a vocal group, the Singapore Bible College Chorale.{{cite web|title=Singapore Bible College Chorale|url=http://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/music/music/artist/15110|website=NLB Music|publisher=National Library Board|accessdate=14 November 2015}}
