History

It became an independent parish in 1796.{{cite book|url=https://dbnl.org/tekst/sten009monu02_01/sten009monu02_01_0156.php |title=Sint Hubert |author=Chris Kolman & Ronald Stenvert| year=1997 |publisher=Waanders |location=Zwolle |isbn=90 400 9945 6 |access-date=17 April 2022 |language=nl}}

The Catholic Hubertus en Barbara church dates from 1459. The choir was renewed in 1934 and a transept was added. The grist mill Heimolen was built in 1878. It was heavily damaged in 1944, but was restored and returned to operation. The wind mill became owned by the municipality after the miller died in 1978. The wind mill remains in operation on a voluntary basis.{{cite web|url=https://www.molendatabase.nl/nederland/molen.php?nummer=590 |title=De Heimolen |website=Molendatabase |access-date=17 April 2022 |language=nl}}
