Volney Ralph "Skeet" Quinlan Jr (June 22, 1928{{spaced ndash}}January 18, 1998) was an American professional football player who was a halfback for five seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the TCU Horned Frogs and San Diego State Aztecs. Quinlan played in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams from 1952 to 1956 and the Cleveland Browns in 1956. He was one of the first star running backs to emerge from Texas.
