Skin sarcoma
{{Short description|Human disease}}
Skin sarcomas (cutaneous sarcomas, dermal sarcomas, or sarcomas of skin) are a subset of soft tissue sarcomas. Skin sarcomas are tumors on the surface of or inside the dermal layers (skin). They are small in size compared to other sarcomas which can arise inside muscles, abdominal cavity, retroperineal sites, etc.[https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35715147/ Management of Skin Sarcomas][https://books.google.com/books?id=Lw92EAAAQBAJ&pg=PA511 p. 511][https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27178697/ Soft tissue sarcomas in skin: presentations and management] These sarcomas are rare, but potentially fatal.[https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37127912/ Cutaneous sarcoma: a review and practical approach to management]
