Sochocin {{IPAc-pl|s|o|'|h|o|ć|i|n}} is a town in Płońsk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sochocin.{{TERYT}} It lies approximately {{convert|8|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-east of Płońsk and {{convert|64|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north-west of Warsaw.

The town has a population of 1,945.

History
