History

In the early 1840s, the society's leadership included Nicolas Defuisseaux as president, Camille Wins and Camille Joseph Castiaux as vice presidents, Adolphe Mathieu as General Secretary, and Augustin Lacroix as Librarian and Archivist. Publication
