Solomon Golub
Solomon Golub (27 February 1887 in Latvia – 18 June 1952 in Bronx, New York) was a Russian Empire-born, naturalized American, song composer.American Jewish year book - Volume 54 - Page 539 Cyrus Adler, Henrietta Szold, American Jewish Committee - 1953 "GOLUB, SOLOMON, poet, composer, singer; music critic for The [Yiddish] Day; wrote several vols, of Yiddish and Hebrew songs; b. Latvia. Feb. 27, 1887; d. Bronx, N. Y., June 18, 1952." A collection of his Yiddish songs was published by Metro Music in 1936.
