Song Ikpil ({{Korean|hangul=송익필|hanja=宋翼弼}}; February 10, 1534 – August 8, 1599) was a Korean politician and Neo-Confucian scholar and educator of the Joseon period.[http://koreandb.nate.com/history/people/detail?sn=5067 Song Ikpil] {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140108112123/http://koreandb.nate.com/history/people/detail?sn=5067 |date=2014-01-08 }}[http://100.naver.com/100.nhn?docid=95682 Song Ikpil] His art names were Gubong ({{Korean|hangul=구봉|hanja=龜峰|labels=no}}) and Hyeonseung ({{Korean|hangul=현승|hanja=玄繩|labels=no}}), and his courtesy name was Unjang ({{Korean|hangul=운장|hanja=雲長|labels=no}}). Song was best friends of Yi I, Seong Hon and Jeong Cheol and taught Kim Jang-saeng.
