Sounds Dangerous! was an audio show at Echo Lake inside Disney MGM Studios starring comedian Drew Carey. The presentation took place inside an ABC soundstage with theater-style seating. Guests were told that the show was an ABC test pilot called Undercover Live. Guests wore headphones and were in the dark for the majority of the show, although visuals were also utilized on a projection screen in front of the guests. Drew Carey played an undercover detective named Foster.{{cite web |last1=Geryak |first1=Cole |title=Disney Extinct Attractions: Soundtacular Hollywood Studi(sh)o(w)s |url=https://www.laughingplace.com/w/featured/2017/11/02/disney-extinct-attractions-soundtacular-hollywood-studishows/ |website=The Laughing Place |accessdate=18 July 2020 |date=November 2, 2017}}
In early 2009, it was announced that the attraction would operate seasonally. The image of Drew Carey along with the attraction's name was removed from the entrance's marquee and the screen was turned off, indicating the closure of the attraction, which meant that Disney closed the attraction on May 18, 2012, renaming it as ABC Sound Studio (which was also the name of the show that preceded Sounds Dangerous!{{cite web|title=ABC Sound Studio|url=https://d23.com/a-to-z/abc-sound-studio/|website=D23: Disney A to Z|publisher=The Walt Disney Company|accessdate=2018-04-04|df=mdy-all|url-access=registration }}), and redressing it as the temporary "Carbon Freeze Me" attraction for the park's annual Star Wars Weekends event.{{cite web|url=http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/Blog/2011/12/Hollywood-Studios-Sounds-Dangerous-To-Close-in-May-2012.php|title=Hollywood Studios Sounds Dangerous To Close in May 2012|publisher=Orlando Fun Tickets|first=Jena|last=Pugh}}{{cite web|last=Miller|first=Steven|title=Cast Yourself in Carbonite with the Carbon-Freeze Me Experience During Star Wars Weekends 2012 at Disney's Hollywood Studios|url=http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/05/cast-yourself-in-carbonite-with-the-carbon-freeze-me-experience-during-star-wars-weekends-2012-at-disneys-hollywood-studios/|archive-url=https://archive.today/20120708182643/http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2012/05/cast-yourself-in-carbonite-with-the-carbon-freeze-me-experience-during-star-wars-weekends-2012-at-disneys-hollywood-studios/|url-status=dead|archive-date=July 8, 2012|website=Disney Parks Blog|publisher=The Walt Disney Company|accessdate=2012-05-23|df=mdy-all}}
