It has been a desirable location for real estate looking across the Swan River to the city of Perth, as well as watching the City of Perth Skyworks. The South Perth City council lists it as a park/reserve that can be hired.{{cite web |url=http://www.southperth.wa.gov.au/Services/Parks-and-Reserves-for-Hire/ |title=Details |website=www.southperth.wa.gov.au |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20100410043647/http://www.southperth.wa.gov.au/Services/Parks-and-Reserves-for-Hire |archive-date=2010-04-10}}
