The Southern League Hall of Fame was an American baseball hall of fame which honored players, managers, coaches, umpires, owners, executives, and media personnel of the Southern League of Minor League Baseball for their accomplishments and/or contributions to the league and its teams. The Hall of Fame inducted its first class in 2014 and its last in 2020. A total of 45 people were inducted.{{cite web|url=https://www.milb.com/southern/history/hall-of-fame|title=Southern League Hall of Fame|website=Southern League|publisher=Minor League Baseball|access-date=April 4, 2025|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220204232757/https://www.milb.com/southern/history/hall-of-fame|archive-date=February 4, 2022}} It had no physical location, but plaques listing each year's inductees were placed in the league's office in Marietta, Georgia.{{cite web|url=https://www.milb.com/news/gcs-54586338|title=Southern League Creates Hall of Fame|website=Minor League Baseball|date=July 24, 2013|access-date=April 6, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250406161228/https://www.milb.com/news/gcs-54586338|archive-date=April 6, 2025}}

In July 2013, the Southern League Board of Directors met to determine the first members of the league's Hall of Fame class. They were to be inducted in 2014 in conjunction with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the league's foundation in 1964. Former league presidents Billy Hitchcock, Jim Bragan, and Don Mincher were unanimously selected. They and ten others, one chosen by each of the league's ten teams, were recognized as the inaugural Hall of Fame class at the 2014 Southern League All-Star Game in Chattanooga, Tennessee.{{cite web|url=https://www.milb.com/southern/news/southern-league-announces-hall-inductees/c-76100928|title=Southern League Announces Hall Inductees|website=Southern League|publisher=Minor League Baseball|date=May 20, 2014|access-date=April 4, 2025|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200201190015/https://www.milb.com/southern/news/southern-league-announces-hall-inductees/c-76100928|archive-date=February 1, 2020}}

Nomination and election methods varied in succeeding years. For the 2015 class, each team nominated up to three individuals for consideration. A 31-person voting committee of Southern League and Minor League Baseball personnel then narrowed the list to ten inductees, selecting one from each organization for induction.{{cite web|last=Hill|first=Benjamin|url=https://www.milb.com/milb/news/gcs-108480288|title=Southern League Joins Hall of Fame Fray|website=Minor League Baseball|date=February 6, 2015|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250405131828/https://www.milb.com/milb/news/gcs-108480288|archive-date=April 5, 2025}} A tie vote for the Birmingham Barons' nominees resulted in the election of both Rollie Fingers and Frank Thomas.{{cite web|url=https://www.chattanoogan.com/2015/3/6/295439/Southern-League-Names-12-New-Inductees.aspx|title=Southern League Names 12 New Inductees Into Hall of Fame|website=The Chattanoogan|date=March 6, 2015|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250126032722/https://www.chattanoogan.com/2015/3/6/295439/Southern-League-Names-12-New-Inductees.aspx|archive-date=January 26, 2025}} A Special Consideration Ballot was introduced that year, which allowed teams to nominate anyone who had made significant contributions to teams from the league's predecessors: the original Southern League (1885–1899) and Southern Association (1901–1961). Harmon Killebrew became the first inductee to be elected via the Special Consideration Ballot in 2015. A similar format was assumed in 2016, wherein each team and members of the voting committee submitted nominations but only the top three were chosen for induction by a 30-member voting committee.{{cite web|url=https://www.milb.com/southern/news/southern-league-announces-2016-hall-class/c-164602424|title=Southern League Announces 2016 Hall Class|website=Southern League|publisher=Minor League Baseball|date=February 16, 2016|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=dead|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200201204341/https://www.milb.com/southern/news/southern-league-announces-2016-hall-class/c-164602424|archive-date=February 1, 2020}} The size of the voting panel fluctuated from year to year: 20 members in 2017,{{cite web|url=https://ballparkdigest.com/2017/02/16/southern-league-announces-2017-hall-of-fame-class/|title=Southern League Announces 2017 Hall of Fame Class|work=Ballpark Digest|date=February 16, 2017|access-date=April 4, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250126032932/https://ballparkdigest.com/2017/02/16/southern-league-announces-2017-hall-of-fame-class/|archive-date=January 26, 2025}} 23 in 2018,{{cite web|url=https://www.milb.com/milb/news/southern-league-2018-hall-of-fame-class/c-267881758|title=Southern League 2018 HOF Class|website=Southern League|publisher=Minor League Baseball|date=March 5, 2018|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250126032805/https://www.milb.com/milb/news/southern-league-2018-hall-of-fame-class-267881758|archive-date=January 26, 2025}} and 34 in 2019.{{cite web|url=https://ballparkdigest.com/2019/02/11/southern-league-unveils-2019-hall-of-fame-class/|title=Southern League Unveils 2019 Hall of Fame Class|website=Ballpark Digest|date=February 11, 2019|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20241206230734/https://ballparkdigest.com/2019/02/11/southern-league-unveils-2019-hall-of-fame-class/|archive-date=December 6, 2024}} For 2020, the Hall of Fame committee endorsed a special proposal by league president Lori Webb to induct Frances Crockett Ringley, baseball's first female general manager.{{cite web|url=https://ballparkdigest.com/2020/02/07/southern-league-unveils-2020-hall-of-fame-class/|title=Southern League Unveils 2020 Hall of Fame Class|work=Ballpark Digest|date=February 7, 2020|access-date=April 5, 2025|url-status=live|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20250126033012/https://ballparkdigest.com/2020/02/07/southern-league-unveils-2020-hall-of-fame-class/|archive-date=January 26, 2025}} Following the 2020 season, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic before it began,{{cite web|title=2020 Minor League Baseball Season Shelved|url=https://www.milb.com/news/2020-minor-league-baseball-season-shelved|website=Minor League Baseball|date=June 30, 2020|access-date=July 1, 2020|archive-date=January 12, 2021|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210112074110/https://www.milb.com/news/2020-minor-league-baseball-season-shelved|url-status=live}} Major League Baseball assumed control of Minor League Baseball.{{cite web|last=Mayo|first=Jonathan|title=MLB Announces New Minors Teams, Leagues|url=https://www.mlb.com/news/new-minor-league-baseball-structure|website=Major League Baseball|date=February 12, 2021|access-date=February 12, 2021|archive-date=March 6, 2021|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20210306212148/https://www.mlb.com/news/new-minor-league-baseball-structure|url-status=live}} The Hall of Fame has since become dormant.
