Starting point
In February 2012 the students of the Lluís Vives High school participated in several demonstrations to protest against the cutbacks in the educational budgets of the Valencian Autonomous Community. The police’s performance in those demonstrations was extremely controversial and appeared in many international media.{{cite magazine |magazine=Time |url=http://www.demotix.com/news/1067272/police-beat-students-riots-valencia#media-1067230 |title=Police beat students in riots in Valencia |publisher=Demotix.com |access-date=2013-09-22 |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20130921063906/http://www.demotix.com/news/1067272/police-beat-students-riots-valencia#media-1067230 |archive-date=2013-09-21 }}{{cite web|url=https://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F50816F63E5F10738DDDAB0994DC405B8085F0D3 |title=THE RIOTS IN VALENCIA. - Front Page |work=The New York Times |date=2012-06-10 |access-date=2013-09-22}}{{cite web|url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-17112779 |title=Spain protest over riot police beatings in Valencia |publisher=BBC |date=2012-02-21 |access-date=2013-09-22}} This sparked the interest of Parents Associations and both Student and International Organisations, such as Amnesty International{{cite web|url=http://www.es.amnesty.org/es/grupos-locales/comunidad-valenciana/grupos/valencia/paginas/noticia/articulo/davant-la-resposta-policial-a-les-manifestacions-estudiantils-a-valencia/ |title=Ante la respuesta policial a las manifestaciones estudiantiles en Valencia: Amnistía Internacional Valencia - Derechos Humanos |publisher=Amnesty International |access-date=2013-09-22}} and Save the Children.{{cite web |url=http://www.elcorreo.com/agencias/20120221/mas-actualidad/sociedad/save-children-pide-investigue-hubo_201202211517.html |title=Save the Children pide que se investigue si hubo maltrato policial a menores. Music
The soundtrack is formed by the track "Law and Moral" of the band from Murcia Klaus & Kinski and a small piece of Joseph Carl Breil’s composition for the 1916 film Intolerance by D. W. Griffith.
"Law and Moral" is the leit motif of the documentary.{{cite web|url=http://jenesaispop.com/2010/03/30/video-ley-y-moral-de-klaus-kinski/ |title=Vídeo 'Ley y moral' de Klaus & Kinski |date=30 March 2010 |publisher=jenesaispop.com |access-date=2013-09-22}} The video clip repeatedly conveys, from a light hearted point of view, the attitude of the main characters in the film.{{cite web|url=http://www.lavanguardia.com/local/valencia/20130211/54366610291/un-documental-sobre-los-alumnos-del-lluis-vives-y-la-primavera-valenciana-se-preestrena-en-el.html |title=Un documental sobre los alumnos del Lluís Vives y la 'primavera valenciana' se preestrena en el |language=Spanish |work=La Vanguardia |date=11 February 2013 |access-date=2013-09-22}} This attitude on occasions is energetic and enthusiastic, and nihilist and disenchanted on others.
The musical segment of Intolerance belongs to the battle and fall of Babylonia (minute 90’). The film alternatively describes stories of injustice. Each of these stories, from different ages and cultures, share the themes of inhumanity, intolerance, hypocrisy, persecution, discrimination and injustice that different social, religious and political systems have reached throughout time.{{cite web|url=http://www.filmsite.org/into.html |title=Intolerance (1916) |publisher=Filmsite.org |access-date=2013-09-22}}
Intolerance was restored in 1989 by Thames Television for Channel 4. The version that appears in Spanish Teen Rally is the digital recording by the Symphonic Radio Orchestra of Luxembourg conducted by Carl Davis.{{cite web|url=http://www.carldaviscollection.com/biography |title=Biography |publisher=The Carl Davis Collection |access-date=2013-09-22}}{{cite web|url=https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0006864/alternateversions?ref_=ttcc_ql_5|title=Intolerance: Love's Struggle Throughout the Ages (1916) : Alternate Versions|publisher=Internet Movie Database|access-date=2013-09-22}}
