Geography

The Kennedy Highway is the north-west boundary of the locality.{{Queensland Globe|accessdate=10 June 2019}}

The terrain is mountainous with individual peaks including Yalbogie Hill at {{Convert|645|m||abbr=}}, North Peak at {{Convert|670|m||abbr=}} and Mount Williams at {{Convert|1017|m||abbr=}}.

The south-eastern part of the locality are in Dinden National Park and Speewah Conservation Park.
