Spiro Risto Dine (1846–1922) was an Albanian rilindas, writer and playwright. Life
Spiro Dine was born in 1846 in Vithkuq, in the region of Korçë, southeastern Albania. In 1866 he migrated to Egypt at an Albanian colony, where he met Thimi Mitko, an Albanian folklorist from Korçë and helped him complete his work on Albanian folklore titled "The Albanian Bee" ({{langx|sq|Bleta Shqipëtare}}).{{cite book|last=Haase|first=Donald|title=The Greenwood encyclopedia of folktales and fairy tales|publisher=Greenwood Publishing Group|year=2008|volume=1|pages=24|isbn=978-0-313-33442-9|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=Jdx2fhPM1XIC&pg=PA24 }}
